I am a university student from China specializing in atmospheric science and artificial intelligence. I am very interested in participating in the "The 3rd Wind Power Generation Forecasting AI Competition – BARAM 2026," as my ongoing research focuses on wind power forecasting using AI techniques.

However, I have encountered a critical issue during the registration process: I am unable to complete the phone number verification step because the system seems to require a Korean phone number to receive the SMS verification code. As an international participant, I do not have access to a Korean mobile number.

Here is what I have tried so far:

I sent an email to dacon@dacon.io a few days ago but have not received a reply yet.

I also tried calling the provided phone number 070-4102-0545, but it appears to be unreachable from overseas.

I would like to kindly ask:

Is there an alternative method for international participants to verify their accounts and complete the registration?

If not, could you please advise on how I can proceed with the registration process as an overseas applicant?

I am more than willing to provide any additional documentation or information to verify my identity if needed.

I understand that the registration deadline is August 14, 2026, and I am aware that team formation may have an earlier cutoff. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate your prompt response.
